Job summary

Okta in the United States is seeking a hands-on Delivery Consultant for Auth0 deployments. You will lead multi-project customer implementations, gather requirements, and drive post-deployment success with the Customer Success team.

You will mentor customers, collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, and help craft scalable identity solutions. The role requires 5+ years of technical consulting, deep JS framework experience, and proficiency with identity protocols like OAuth and SAML.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
• Minimum 3 years with JavaScript and a major MVC framework (Backbone, Angular, Ember, React, Node, etc).
• Experience with identity federation and access control models (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation).
• Knowledge of enterprise web technologies and security infrastructures.
• Ability to work independently and multitask across client engagements.
• Experience designing security/identity management for critical systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise identity lifecycle processes and standards.
• A hands-on contributor who can implement solutions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on post-sales consulting to Okta customers.
• Gather, analyze, and document post-sales requirements.
• Communicate technical and functional aspects to customers and partners.
• Deliver design and deployment solutions ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Lead multiple deployment projects with timely deliverables.
• Mentor customers on service usage and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management to influence product direction.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Support to address escalations.
• Engage with Sales for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Design and troubleshoot Okta service configurations with customers.
• Shape Okta growth with new offerings and delivery methods.
• Apply cloud architectures to complex enterprise landscapes.
• Utilize Java, Ruby, .Net, PHP, REST/JSON when needed.
• Ensure adherence to change controls and time tracking.
