Job summary

Mattermost seeks a Senior Account Executive – Federal (Intelligence Community Focus) to lead a strategic IC territory, drive multi-year account strategies, and own major renewals and net-new growth. You will navigate IC procurement, security, and accreditation processes, coordinating with cleared FSIs and partners to expand adoption in sensitive environments.

The role focuses on strategic selling, renewal expansion, and net-new growth with a significant multi-million-dollar renewal footprint

Qualifications

• Proven track record of enterprise SaaS sales with multi-million-dollar closures.
• Experience selling directly into U.S. Intelligence Community agencies.
• Deep understanding of IC acquisition, accreditation, and mission environments.
• Experience co-selling with cleared Federal Systems Integrators.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Intelligence Community territory as primary seller.
• Develop multi-year IC account strategies aligned to modernization efforts.
• Lead complex enterprise SaaS deals, including security and accreditation steps.
• Execute a federal partner ecosystem motion with cleared FSIs and distributors.
• Deliver predictable revenue with accurate forecasting and cadence.
