Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer to drive secure access across cloud and SaaS environments. You’ll develop IAM solutions, own end-to-end projects, and partner with teams to de-risk permissions, while ensuring scalable, auditable access processes across our enterprise systems.

You will work within a distributed, flexible talent framework supporting secure-by-default patterns and continuous improvement of IAM controls across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and internal

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining IAM products/tools.
• Automation-first mindset: production-ready scalable software, Infrastructure as Code, and AI coding tools.
• Strong grasp of IAM best practices, least privilege, and auditability.
• BS+ in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• US Citizenship preferred

Responsibilities

• Code, design, and implement IAM solutions across cloud infrastructure and SaaS apps.
• Own end-to-end IAM initiatives from requirements to rollout and operation.
• Develop secure access models and reduce privilege sprawl across AWS, Kubernetes, and SaaS apps.
• Build and maintain logging, metrics, and SIEM-based observability for IAM changes.
• Run and improve user access reviews and ensure compliance.
• Identify high-risk permissions and implement mitigations with partner teams.
• Document procedures and automation to ensure scalable access decisions.
