Job summary

Bank of America is recruiting for a Senior IAM Information Security Threat Lead within Global Information Security. The role focuses on governing IAM standards across public cloud, AI platforms, and enterprise environments, with emphasis on least privilege, identity lifecycle, and risk reduction.

You will partner with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, architecture, product, risk, and compliance teams to implement practical IAM strategies and roadmaps, translating complex requirements into actionable

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IAM, information security, technology risk, or related disciplines in a large, regulated org.
• Knowledge of IAM lifecycle, authentication, authorization, privileged access, non-human identities, secrets management, least privilege and Zero Trust.
• Experience with public cloud IAM across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, with ability to compare approaches and integration considerations.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, ML, LLMs, AI agents, and related identity/access risks.
• Ability to translate complex tech and regulatory info into concise executive analysis and roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer IAM standards, governance models, controls, and effectiveness measures for public cloud, SaaS, Generative AI, ML, and Agentic AI environments.
• Lead assessments of IAM capabilities across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and AI platforms, evaluating strategic alignment and risk.
• Evaluate IAM solutions against business needs, regulatory expectations, and target architecture.
• Develop recommendations, decision frameworks, roadmaps, and reusable IAM patterns for cloud and AI adoption.
• Assess identity and access implications of AI solutions, focusing on ownership, least privilege, and lifecycle governance.
• Collaborate with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, architecture, product, risk, and compliance teams to close gaps.
• Monitor market developments and inform IAM strategy, investments, and vendor direction.
• Drive governance to modernize IAM and promote cloud-native, scalable capabilities.
• Lead IAM assessments for new cloud services, AI use cases, platforms, and vendors with clear risk docs.
• Represent IAM with senior management, regulators, and risk partners on risks and remediation plans.
• Develop executive-level analyses and presentations to explain IAM options and tradeoffs.
