Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior IAM Information Security Threat Lead within Global Information Security to strengthen identity governance across cloud, AI, and data platforms. You will analyze IAM systems, lead modernization efforts, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include defining IAM standards, evaluating AWS/Azure/Google Cloud IAM, developing frameworks, and ensuring least privilege, access governance, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IAM, information security, cloud tech, or related areas in a large regulated org.
• Knowledge of IAM principles: lifecycle governance, authentication, authorization, privileged access, secrets.
• Experience evaluating IAM on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and AI platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, AI agents, Agentic AI, and associated access risks.
• Ability to translate complex tech and regulatory info into executive options and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define IAM standards, governance models, controls, and metrics for cloud, SaaS, AI environments.
• Lead assessments of IAM across major cloud platforms and emerging AI platforms.
• Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and reusable IAM patterns for cloud and AI adoption.
• Assess identity implications of AI solutions, including non-human identities and lifecycle governance.
• Collaborate with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and risk teams to close control gaps and drive strategy.
• Monitor market developments to inform IAM strategy and vendor direction.
• Lead IAM assessments for new services, document risks, and provide executive-level analysis.
