Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior IAM Information Security Threat Lead within Global Information Security (GIS). This role analyzes, strengthens, and secures IAM systems, partnering with senior leaders to implement new technologies and frameworks for modern identity governance.

The role applies laws and standards (NIST, COBIT, ISO) to policies, reports on adherence, and maintains governance programs related to IAM controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, information security, technology risk, enterprise architecture, public cloud security, or related disciplines within a large, regulated organization.

Responsibilities

• Define IAM standards, governance models, controls, and effectiveness measures for cloud, SaaS, Generative AI, machine learning, and AI environments.
• Lead assessments of IAM capabilities across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and AI platforms for alignment, security, and integration.
• Evaluate IAM solutions against business requirements, regulatory expectations, and target architectures.
• Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and reusable IAM patterns for cloud and AI adoption, including lifecycle management and privilege access governance.
• Monitor identity implications of AI solutions and ensure least privilege, governance, and traceability.
• Collaborate with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, architecture, engineering, risk, and compliance teams to identify gaps and translate requirements.
• Stay informed on IAM market developments and regulatory guidance to shape strategy and vendor decisions.
• Drive modernization and risk-reduction initiatives for cloud and AI identity governance.
