Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior IAM Information Security Threat Lead to strengthen identity governance across cloud and AI environments. You will work with senior leaders to implement modern IAM frameworks, ensure least privilege, and manage access for humans and machine identities.

The role requires collaboration across cybersecurity, cloud engineering, architecture, product, risk, and compliance teams, with a focus on policy alignment and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Identity and Access Management, information security, or related fields in a regulated org.
• Knowledge of IAM principles: lifecycle governance, authentication, authorization, privileged access, non-human identities, secrets mgmt, least privilege, Zero Trust.
• Experience with public cloud IAM and security across AWS/Azure/GCP; compare platform approaches, controls, integrations.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer IAM standards, governance models, and controls for cloud, SaaS, AI environments.
• Lead assessments of IAM capabilities across major cloud platforms; evaluate alignment, security, and complexity.
• Evaluate cloud-native IAM solutions against requirements, regulatory expectations, and target architecture.
• Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and reusable IAM patterns for cloud and AI adoption, including lifecycle mgmt and access governance.
• Assess AI/AI agent identity risks; focus on ownership, least privilege, drift, and runtime authorization.
• Collaborate with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, architecture, product, risk, and compliance teams to close gaps.
• Monitor cloud and AI IAM market trends; inform IAM strategy and investments.
• Drive modernization and risk-reduction for IAM governance and scalable capabilities.
• Lead IAM assessments for new services, documenting risks and recommended actions.
• Represent IAM with senior management, regulators, and auditors on risk and remediation plans.
• Develop executive analyses and roadmap materials for leadership.
• Influence enterprise tech decisions to support IAM, cloud, and AI objectives.
