Job summary

Bank of America’s Global Information Security (GIS) IAM team seeks a Senior IAM Information Security Threat Lead to strengthen identity and access governance across cloud, AI, and enterprise systems. You will lead governance, develop patterns, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed secure identity practices in rapidly evolving environments.

This role requires translating complex regulations and tech choices into clear executive recommendations, mentoring peers, and shaping roadmaps

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management within a large, regulated organization.
• Broad IAM knowledge including identity lifecycle governance, authentication, authorization, privileged access management, non-human identities, secrets management, least privilege, and Zero Trust.
• Demonstrated knowledge of public cloud IAM across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform with enterprise integration.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, machine learning, AI agents, Agentic AI and related identity risks.
• Experience conducting assessments and developing fact-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer IAM standards, governance models, controls, and effectiveness measures for cloud, SaaS, Generative AI, ML, and AI environments.
• Lead comparative assessments of IAM capabilities across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform and emerging AI platforms.
• Evaluate cloud-native IAM solutions against business requirements, regulatory expectations, and long-term operating models.
• Develop recommendations, roadmaps, and reusable IAM patterns for cloud and AI adoption, including lifecycle management and privileged access.
• Collaborate with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, architecture, engineering, product, risk, and compliance teams.
