Job summary

Bank of America’s Global Information Security IAM team seeks a seasoned leader to define standards, assess cloud and AI identity platforms, and drive modern, secure access across enterprise environments. The role requires collaboration with cloud, AI, risk, and engineering groups to deliver governance and risk-mitigated IAM solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Identity and Access Management or related security disciplines in a large, regulated organization.
• Broad IAM capabilities: lifecycle governance, authentication, authorization, privileged access, secrets management, least privilege, Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Define and steer IAM standards, governance models, controls, and effectiveness measures for cloud, SaaS, and AI environments.
• Lead comparative assessments of IAM across AWS, Azure, GCP, and AI platforms with focus on strategy, security, and implementation effort.
• Evaluate cloud IAM solutions against business needs, regulatory expectations, and target-state architecture.
• Develop frameworks, roadmaps, and reusable IAM patterns for cloud and AI adoption, including identity lifecycle management and entitlement governance.
• Assess identity implications of AI solutions, including AI agents, data sources, and access governance.
• Partner with cloud, AI, cybersecurity, architecture, engineering, product, risk, and compliance teams.
• Monitor market developments and inform IAM strategy and vendor direction.
• Drive modernization to reduce legacy approaches and promote cloud-native capabilities.
• Lead IAM assessments for new cloud services and AI use cases with risk documentation.
• Represent IAM with senior management, regulators, and audit teams on risks and remediation plans.
• Develop executive-level materials explaining IAM risks, options, and outcomes.
• Influence enterprise technology decisions to support IAM and AI objectives.
