Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to lead a team on high-complexity projects in water/wastewater facilities. You will evaluate, specify and engineer I&C systems, guiding design through models, diagrams and construction documents.

You will coordinate with clients and contractors, manage scope and budgets, and mentor junior staff while traveling as needed. Primary location includes Denver-area opportunities with travel to assign sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required; MS preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of instrumentation and controls experience.
• PE license in AZ or ability to reciprocity/obtain within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, high-complexity I&C projects as Discipline Lead.
• Evaluate, select, and engineer I&C systems for projects.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams and details.
• Prepare site plans, diagrams, schematics and docs.
• Lead coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Oversee project specifications and constructability reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate across dispersed teams.
