Job summary

Stantec in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Senior I&C Engineer to lead independent projects, supervise engineers and designers, and act as a discipline lead for complex initiatives. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer I&C systems, perform field work, and mentor junior staff as needed.

The role covers design & drawing preparation, project scope management, and coordination with clients and vendors. Travel may be required, with a strong emphasis on quality and constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MS preferred, with 15+ years in instrumentation and controls.
• PE license in Controls or Electrical Engineering (Arizona) or reciprocity, or within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, high-complexity projects as Engineer of Record.
• Evaluate, select, and engineer all I&C systems and products for projects.
• Develop designs via sketches, models, diagrams, and other visuals.
• Prepare and revise docs: site plans, diagrams, schematics, details.
• Lead coordination with internal/external teams and owners/contractors.
