Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects. You will serve as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and guide the team through design to construction.

You will conduct field investigations, coordinate with clients and contractors, develop cost estimates, and help prepare construction documents for diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• 7–8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering for water/wastewater.
• Experience with electrical systems design and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects of varying complexity.
• Evaluates, selects, and engineers electrical systems and products for projects.
• Leads design development through sketches, models, diagrams, and documents.
