Job summary

Stantec seeks a licensed electrical engineer to lead design and Engineer-of-Record responsibilities for water and wastewater projects in the United States. You will apply advanced electrical engineering concepts to size, evaluate, and specify electrical systems as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop construction documents, lead design reviews, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in electrical engineering for water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects or components of varying complexity.
• Engineer electrical systems, select and specify electrical equipment.
• Develop designs via sketches, models, diagrams and drawings.
• Lead development of construction documents and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; oversee QA/QC on own projects.
