Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior I&C Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead a team of engineers and designers on large, complex projects. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer all I&C systems, drive design through sketches and models, and prepare comprehensive construction documents.

The role requires a PE license in Controls or Electrical Engineering (AZ or reciprocity) and 15+ years in instrumentation and controls, with strong communication and mentoring skills. Travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is required; MS preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.
• PE license in Controls Systems or Electrical Engineering in AZ or reciprocal eligibility within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers on large or complex projects.
• Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer I&C systems.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and other formats.
• Prepare and revise site plans, floor plans, diagrams, schematics, and details.
