Job summary

Sargent & Lundy looks for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to design and specify I&C systems for power plants and heavy industry. You will work on multi-disciplinary teams, prepare procurement specs, and may travel for reviews and field verifications.

Required are a BS in Electrical Engineering, a PE license (or plan to obtain), and 9+ years in power/industrial controls, with strong communication and MS Office skills. Hybrid work in Colorado is offered.

Qualifications

• A BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program is required; emphasis in power systems preferred.
• PE license or ability to earn one is required.
• 9+ years of relevant power plant and heavy industrial control systems experience.
• Experience reading and creating logic diagrams and control narratives.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate power plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Prepare specifications for procurement of I&C equipment and services.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary project teams and perform design calculations.
• Travel to client/vendor offices and plant sites as needed.
