Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior I&C engineer to drive control system design for new and legacy nuclear plants, including SMR scopes. You will lead technical decisions in a collaborative team, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with vendors and clients.

A bilingual (Spanish/English) professional with 10+ years in nuclear instrumentation and controls is ideal. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and relocation assistance depending on location.

Formación

• BS or MS in ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years in instrumentation & controls design for heavy industrial plants, nuclear focus.
• Experience supporting nuclear projects from design to operations and testing.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (read, speak, write).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and market high level, complex programs for nuclear power projects related to design and safety.
• Direct technical decisions within a project team on digital upgrades.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve instrumentation & controls issues.
• Coordinate system design to meet specs, codes, and client requirements.
• Prepare calculations for analog and digital controls and review drawings.
• Interface with vendors and prepare equipment purchase specifications.
• Attend client meetings and site walkdowns for scope validation.
