Job summary

Stantec is seeking a seasoned estimator for power infrastructure projects in the United States. You will lead multi‑discipline cost estimates, develop detailed budgets for generators, substations, and HV equipment, and coordinate inputs across teams.

You’ll validate takeoffs, craft execution plans, and support procurement and risk analyses. Travel to sites is possible; collaboration with clients and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/management field.
• Minimum 10 years in estimating/construction with hydroelectric or power infrastructure experience.
• Experience with various estimating platforms and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi‑discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for generators, transformers, substations, and related systems.
• Validate takeoffs, coordinate inputs, and assemble comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepare estimate execution plans and labor work plans.
• Support procurement, pricing, changes, and risk analyses.
