Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate large multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for complex infrastructure projects. You will lead discipline estimators and coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.

This role focuses on hydroelectric generation, power systems, and electrical infrastructure estimating, with oversight of major studies and capital programs. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined estimating and construction experience.
• Experience with hydroelectric generation, substations, power systems, utility infrastructure, transmission, distribution, or electrical balance-of-plant projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input from estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Develop estimate execution plans and labor-force work plans for estimating activities.
• Review design documents to identify risks and opportunities related to pricing and constructability.
