Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to develop and coordinate large, multi-discipline infrastructure cost estimates and schedules. You will lead teams of estimators across civil, electrical, and other disciplines for projects ranging from $1 million to $2 billion.

The role emphasizes hydroelectric generation, power systems, and electrical infrastructure estimating, with travel to domestic and some international sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cost/estimating, construction practice, and engineering design.
• Experience estimating hydroelectric, utility, renewable energy, and power infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field; minimum 10 years in estimating/construction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input from estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate report deliverables for end user.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure estimate defensibility.
