Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Applied Hydraulics Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a recognized leader in hydraulic engineering for large water resources projects with demonstrated technical expertise, particularly as it applies to dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure, or natural resources. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering required.
Master’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Demonstrated ability to lead large hydraulic projects and teams.
Willingness to travel up to 25% monthly.

Responsibilities

Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops for project teams and clients.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
Initiate and lead marketing and business development pursuits.
Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients to support business growth.
Prepare and oversee project deliverables across multiple components.
Lead QA/QC reviews in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
Manage project and organizational risks associated with deliverables.
Participate in development and execution of strategic initiatives.
Direct and delegate workloads while mentoring staff.
