McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Applied Hydraulics Engineer to lead hydraulic engineering on large water resources projects, with emphasis on dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure, or natural resources.

This on-site role emphasizes technical leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration in a growing, employee-owned firm. You will guide projects from feasibility through design and commissioning, work with clients and staff, and contribute to strategic growth while mentoring colleagues.

Formación

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering.
• PE license required; FERC regulations experience preferred.
• 20 years of experience in hydraulic engineering.
• 10 years of project management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement, persuasion and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops for project teams and clients.
• Ensure work elements meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Initiate and lead marketing and business development pursuits.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients to support business growth.
• Prepare and oversee project deliverables across reports, letters, memoranda, drawings and specifications.
• Lead QA/QC reviews according to client requirements and company policies.
• Actively manage risks related to deliverables and work products.
• Contribute to development and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Direct and delegate workloads while mentoring staff to build leaders.
• Train, evaluate, recruit, and mentor staff for future leadership.
