Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests, ensuring safety and high-quality resident experiences.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and the ability to work under pressure, with on-call availability and adherence to EPA/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification preferred; EPA Certification required.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers' homes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Ensure safety standards and report major repairs before expenditures.
• Maintain professional communication with residents and vendors.
