Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our Property Management team. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, EPA and HVAC certifications, and reliable tools. On-call availability, strong organization and communication skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Certification from Technical College or Trade Program preferred; EPA Certification required.
• 5+ years’ experience in general maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall).
• Experience repairing residential appliances preferred.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and service requests, including replacements as needed.
• Diagnose and repair advanced issues and replace defective equipment as required.
• Follow company policies and regulatory requirements (EPA, OSHA, etc.) and maintain safety at all times.
• Report major repairs or replacements prior to expenditure of funds.
