Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our Property Management team, delivering an outstanding customer experience while inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform residential maintenance and repairs as needed, ensuring safety and adherence to EPA and OSHA guidelines.

The role requires 5+ years in general maintenance, HVAC certification, EPA license and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall)
• Technical College or Trade Program with HVAC Certification is preferred
• EPA Certification Required
• Experience servicing furnaces, A/C, ducts, water heaters and related systems
• Experience repairing residential appliances preferred
• Own basic tools and valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve service requests with strong customer service
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
• Diagnose and repair advanced HVAC issues and replace defective components
• Report major repairs or replacements prior to expenditures
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Maintain regular attendance and timely completion of service requests
