Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service and Solutions Senior Account Manager to act as a technical sales expert. You will develop direct owner relationships, sell preventative maintenance contracts, and advise on products and solutions based on client needs in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with owners, reps, district offices, and service centers; travel within the territory, prepare estimates and quotes, and help shape new products through customer

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and 5+ years of field service experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of related sales experience (commercial HVAC sales preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to travel territory daily.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software (preferred).
• Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain direct owner relationships and sell maintenance contracts.
• Meet sales goals through existing customers and prospecting new business.
• Generate lists of prospective customers from databases and industry sources.
• Travel throughout territory to call on customers and solicit orders.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotes; coordinate cost estimates on projects and write sales contracts.
• Conduct tests and surveys on competitive products to guide improvements.
• Prepare pipeline and business plan reports.
• Identify tools and resources to aid in sales (ROI, energy rebates).
• Lead projects with internal/external subject matter experts as needed.
• Research enterprise-level clients.
• Mentor or coach less experienced staff.
