Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas seeks an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to act as a technical sales expert, developing and maintaining customer relationships, selling preventative maintenance contracts, and advising on HVAC products and building automation solutions (BAS). Hybrid role in Seattle with regular travel to customers and job sites.

You will work with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office, Service Center Managers, and sales teams to meet goals and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with related experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to travel territory daily.
• Demonstrated ability to influence the market.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing customers and prospect new business.
• Call on customers and build relationships; travel to sites.
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing; quote prices and contracts.
• Identify opportunities from equipment data, industry sources, and other leads.
• Plan and manage projects with internal and external experts.
• Work with vendors/contractors to deliver complex solutions.
