Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to maintain and service HVAC systems in our single-family rental homes. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment while managing safety and costs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of general maintenance experience, HVAC and EPA certifications, and own basic tools. On-site position in Chandler, AZ with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• Technical college or trade program with HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of furnaces, air conditioners, ducts, water heaters and related piping.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers’ homes preferred.
• Must have own basic tools for ongoing service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Ensure safety policies and regulations are followed.
• Complete service requests in a professional, timely manner.
