Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our Property Management team. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across our single-family homes, performing maintenance and repairs as needed and ensuring top-notch resident experience.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, EPA/HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification preferred; EPA Certification required.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and own basic tools.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers’ homes preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair advanced HVAC issues and document repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assess service requests and provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances.
• Diagnose and repair advanced HVAC issues and report major repairs prior to expenditures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Operate with proper tools and transport materials as needed.
