Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to maintain and repair HVAC systems in our single-family rental homes. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure residents receive reliable comfort.

The role requires a high school diploma, HVAC certification, EPA certification, at least five years of general maintenance experience, and a clean driving record. You must have your own basic tools and be able to work on-call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ general service and maintenance experience.
• HVAC Certification preferred; EPA Certification required.
• Own basic tools; valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and service requests.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment/components.
• Report major repairs prior to expenditure of funds.
• Maintain safety and complete tasks in a timely manner.
