Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to deliver a top-tier resident experience across our single-family homes. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems while coordinating with the property management team to keep properties in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, etc.).
• HVAC certification from technical college or trade program preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• 5 years’ experience maintaining furnaces, AC, ducts, water heaters, and related piping/electrical.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in homes.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair HVAC equipment.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Available for on-call service, weekends and evenings.
• Experience in single-family or multi-family rental preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong interaction with residents and vendors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Physical: lift 50 pounds; climb stairs.
• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Assess service requests and resolve with outstanding customer service.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect, service and repair appliances, irrigation, doors/windows/flooring, roofing and related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues and replace defective parts.
• Report major repairs before expending funds.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Complete service requests promptly and maintain punctuality.
• Possess necessary tools and transportation for field work.
