Job summary

Progress Residential is hiring a Service Technician III - HVAC to deliver outstanding customer experiences while managing costs on our single-family rental homes in Texas. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across our growing portfolio, with on-call availability and emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires HVAC certification and EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Certification preferred; technical college or trade program advantageous.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve service requests with excellent customer service and represent Progress Residential positively.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and other systems as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment or components on HVAC systems.
• Report major repairs or replacements prior to expenditure of funds and maintain safety at all times.
• Complete service requests professionally and on schedule; maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations; ensure safe work practices.
