Job summary

Progress Residential, L.P. is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to deliver an outstanding resident experience while controlling costs. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across our single-family rental homes and handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and HVAC credentials. A minimum of five years’ maintenance experience and own tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Certification preferred; EPA Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair).
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers’ homes preferred.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license; on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance including electrical and plumbing.
• Diagnose advanced issues and replace defective components.
• Report major repairs before expenditures and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain punctuality and professional conduct in all duties.
• Interact with residents and vendors professionally and courteously.
