Job summary

Progress Residential, LLC is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in single-family rental homes. The role supports the Property Management team and may require on-call availability.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safety standards while delivering excellent resident service. A valid driver's license and EPA/HVAC credentials are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• Technical College or Trade Program with HVAC Certification is preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience providing routine maintenance on furnaces, ACs, ducting and water heaters.
• Experience repairing residential appliances preferred.
• Own basic tools required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose advanced issues and replace defective equipment.
• Maintain safety and comply with regulations and company policies.
• Interact with residents and vendors professionally.
