Job summary

Progress Residential, L.P. is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to maintain and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute cost-controlled maintenance efforts while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires HVAC certification, EPA compliance, and a valid driver's license. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills, be able to manage multiple tasks, and work on-site with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification from Technical College or Trade Program preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in homes preferred.
• Own basic tools required to perform ongoing service in residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment/components.
• Report major repairs before expenditure of funds.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Available for on-call service, weekends and evenings as needed.
