Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Technician III to operate as a senior expert, handling complex commercial HVAC service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and system startups across varied environments nationwide. You will lead challenging jobs, mentor junior technicians, and ensure code compliance, energy efficiency, and top-tier customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification (Universal strongly preferred); NATE or OSHA credentials are a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Must adhere to OSHA regulations, EPA protocols, and safety standards; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform major component replacements and refrigerant handling.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and energy-efficiency assessments.
• Lead full service calls from dispatch to completion and coordinate with customers.
• Ensure compliance with codes, EPA requirements, and Modigent safety standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and document service activities.
