Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Technician III to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems across diverse facilities. You will lead service calls, coordinate parts, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role includes mentoring junior technicians and upholding EPA and OSHA standards.

The position emphasizes hands-on expertise, advanced diagnostics, and a focus on reliability and energy efficiency in a nationwide service footprint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification (Universal strongly preferred); NATE certification a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform advanced repairs such as major component replacements and system retrofits.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, performance testing, and energy-efficiency assessments.
• Lead full service calls from dispatch to completion with customer communication and coordination.
• Mentor junior technicians and promote safety and quality standards.
