Job summary

AIR Control Concepts is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Northern NJ. The successful candidate will manage relationships with consulting engineers and contractors while analyzing project specifications to deliver optimal HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in HVAC equipment sales, preferably in a manufacturer’s rep or mechanical sales environment.
• Strong relationships in the North Jersey engineering or contracting community.
• Deep understanding of HVAC systems, building design, and mechanical construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand a book of business with consulting engineers and contractors.
• Analyze project specifications and develop engineered solutions.
• Guide customers through complex HVAC applications with a consultative approach.
• Collaborate with inside application and estimating teams for seamless proposals.
• Represent Klima and manufacturers through presentations and events.
• Meet or exceed sales targets focusing on long-term client relationships.
