Job summary

AIR Control Concepts in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Engineering Sales Representative to join our growing HVAC team. The successful candidate will apply technical and application knowledge to influence designers' specifications and grow sales.

You will develop and manage sales plans, build relationships with owners, engineers and contractors, and participate in trade shows, product demonstrations and site visits to stay informed on industry changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in engineering or construction management is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience selling mechanical, HVAC sheet metal products and control systems are desired.
• System start-up, troubleshooting, building management systems, and controls experience are a plus.
• Strong computer skills are required. The ability to use technology to automate or simplify processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sizing, selecting, and designing mechanical and HVAC equipment for engineers and consultants.
• Support engineers with equipment selections, quotations and sales to owners/contractors.
• Promote products, develop customer relationships and demonstrate product expertise.
• Other duties as assigned
