You will develop both technical and commercial skills in HVAC equipment sales, applications and consulting engineering while working with experienced sales engineers and application specialists on major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience or strong academic exposure to commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Strong technical and analytical ability.
• Interest in developing a career in technical sales and applications engineering.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, design-build contractors and end users.
• Understand customer requirements and assist with selection of appropriate HVAC equipment and solutions.
• Work with application engineering teams to develop project proposals and equipment selections.
• Assist consulting engineers with equipment selection and specification development.
• Attend customer meetings, project meetings, site visits and job walk-throughs.
• Support technical presentations and product training.
• Develop understanding of competitor products, market conditions and pricing.
• Participate in industry associations, networking events and trade shows.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM activity.
• Continue developing technical knowledge through ongoing product and application training.
