Job summary

Progress Residential is hiring a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our property management team. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes and handle additional residential maintenance as needed.

Qualified applicants have at least 5 years of general service experience, EPA certification, and HVAC training. You will operate under safety guidelines and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• Technical College or Trade Program with HVAC Certification is preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Experience repairing residential appliances in customers’ homes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and service requests including replacements as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair/replace defective equipment or components on HVAC equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations; ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; complete service requests professionally and promptly.
