The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years in operations with 5+ years in project management, plus travel up to 50%. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ten years of progressively responsible operations management experience in the Building Industry with five+ years in project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to large audiences.
• Able to travel up to 50% of time.
• Proficiency in MS Projects, MS Office, Adobe Writer, Visio, and Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitable execution of HVAC Controls and Building Wide Systems Integrations, Fire and Security projects across North America.
• Supervise Project Executives to plan, execute, and complete large, complex projects.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal laws and high safety standards.
• Develop direct reports with performance expectations and development plans.
• Coordinate with Major Projects Installation Enablement Director to maintain Project Execution Plans and cost/resource-loaded schedules.
• Drive change order processes and collaborate with claims department.
• Collaborate with Regional Field Support Manager and North American Manufacturing Operations leadership to resolve equipment issues.
• Drive cost reductions per point and ensure adherence to Engineering and Execution standards.
