Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead large HVAC equipment construction projects, primarily serving the DC market. Occasional travel to customer sites for meetings and troubleshooting is required.

You will supervise execution teams, manage schedules, budgets, and change orders, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent in engineering/architecture fields, strong communication, and PM software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent work related experience.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical material to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex HVAC equipment construction projects $3M+; ensure on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Develop schedules, manage costs, billings, and collections; pursue change orders.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure safety and compliance.
