Job summary

EMCOR Group in West Sacramento, CA seeks a Sr. Account Manager to drive sales, profits and client relationships, selling the complete EMCOR Service operations, maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy solutions.

You will present proposals, manage pricing and payments, and collaborate with project teams to meet objectives. The ideal candidate has strong presentation, financial acumen and HVAC/building automation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration preferred.
• 8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation.
• Experience in facilities management or O&M environment preferred.
• Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
• Financial acumen, including cost modeling for proposals.
• Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
• Independent decision-making is required.
• Proficient MS Office skills; strong Excel skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales presentations and prospect for new accounts; provide clients with product services/information.
• Maintain client pricing and payments, A/R management, and prepare P/L reports.
• Provide QA support and participate in industry and trade shows.
• Establish relationships with prospective clients.
• Research prospective projects via calls, visits, conferences, Internet, and existing relationships; contact Chief Engineer, Account Managers, and Property Managers.
• Collaborate with Director of Business Development, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors to improve account programs and maximize sales growth.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations; develop, write, and review proposals using standard templates.
• Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.
