Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or related fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills
• Ability to interact with owners, owners’ representatives, contractors, engineers and architects professionally
• Strong knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations
• Commissioning certifications (ACG/BCxA/ASHRAE) preferred
• EI/PE licensure or CEM credentials preferred
• Proficient with building automation systems across platforms (Siemens, JCI, Niagara, Schneider, Alerton, Honeywell)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement energy conservation measures with the project team
• Lead surveys, documentation review, and due diligence to determine facility conditions
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify BAS programming to implement energy conservation measures
• Interact with project team to ensure high-quality, optimized systems
• Use test instrumentation to troubleshoot and verify building system operation
• Maintain awareness of energy performance throughout the project
• Collaborate with the team to meet performance targets and scope
