Job summary

ENFRA seeks a Controls Analyst to support Energy-as-a-Service projects with a focus on HVAC optimization, BAS analysis, and energy savings verification. The role requires advanced knowledge of high-performance building operations and the ability to translate engineering intent into effective control logic across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include site assessments, trend data analysis, DDC logic development, and ongoing optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field, or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or other relevant fields
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills
• Ability to interact with owners, owner's representatives, contractors, engineers and architects professionally
• Strong knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of DDC controls
• Develop and implement energy conservation measures per ASHRAE guidelines with project delivery team
• Leads surveys, documentation review, and due diligence to determine facility conditions and develop energy measures
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building automation system programming to implement energy conservation measures
• Interact with project team to ensure high quality, functional and optimized systems
• Utilize test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and optimize building system operation
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes throughout the project
• Collaborate with project team to ensure performance targets are met and maintained
• Drive corrective actions when scope or performance gaps are identified
• Ensure issues are communicated to project team
• Assist with resolution of issues by proposing and tracking solutions
• Proactively address constraints to achieve project outcomes
• Familiarity with building automation systems software
