Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a skilled Controls Analyst to support Energy-as-a-Service projects focused on HVAC optimization and energy savings across complex, multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare. The role requires deep BAS and sequence programming expertise, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and collaboration with engineers and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or other relevant fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of DDC controls.
• Develop and implement energy conservation measures including room ventilation schedules per ASHRAE guidelines with project delivery team.
• Lead surveys, documentation review, and due diligence activities to determine facility conditions and develop applicable energy conservation measures.
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building automation system programming to implement energy conservation measures within existing sequences.
• Interact with the project team to ensure high quality, functional and optimized systems are delivered.
• Utilize test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and optimize building system operation.
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes throughout the project.
