Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is seeking a Controls Analyst to support Energy-as-a-Service projects focused on HVAC optimization, BAS performance, and energy-savings verification across large, multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare environments.

The role requires advanced HVAC/BAS knowledge, experience with retro-commissioning, and the ability to translate engineering intent into effective control logic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or other relevant fields
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills
• Ability to interact with owners, owner's representatives, contractors, engineers and architects in a professional manner while effectively driving project outcome
• Strong knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations
• Commissioning Certification or PE/EI/ CEM would be a plus
• Experience with multiple control platforms (Siemens, JCI, Niagara, Schneider Electric, Alerton, ALC, Honeywell)

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of DDC controls
• Develop and implement energy conservation measures including room ventilation schedules per ASHRAE guidelines with project delivery team
• Leads surveys, documentation review, and due diligence activities to determine facility conditions and develop applicable energy conservation measures
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building automation system programming to implement energy conservation measures within existing sequences
• Interact directly with the project team to ensure high quality, functional and optimized systems are delivered
• Utilize test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and optimize building system operation
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes through the duration of the project
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure performance targets are met and maintained
• Drive corrective actions when scope or performance gaps are identified
• Ensure issues are properly identified and communicated to project team
• Assist with the resolution of issues by proposing and tracking implementation of solutions to the project team
• Proactively address constraints to achieving project outcomes and scope completion
• Familiarity with building automation systems software
• Strong communication and coordination ski
