Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Controls Analyst to support Energy-as-a-Service projects with a focus on HVAC optimization, BAS programming, and energy savings verification across multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare environments.

The role requires advanced HVAC knowledge, experience with retro-commissioning, and the ability to translate engineering intent into robust control logic while collaborating with engineering and commissioning teams to deliver measurable performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or other relevant fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills.
• Ability to interact with owners, owner’s representatives, contractors, engineers and architects in a professional manner while effectively driving project outcome.
• Strong knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of DDC controls.
• Develop and implement energy conservation measures including but not limited to room ventilation schedules per ASHRAE guidelines with project delivery team.
• Leads surveys, documentation review, and due diligence activities to determine facility conditions and develop applicable energy conservation measures.
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on assigned projects.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modify building automation system programming to implement energy conservation measures within existing sequences.
• Interact directly with the project team to ensure high quality, functional and optimized systems are delivered.
• Utilize test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and optimize building system operation.
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes through the duration of the project.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure performance targets are met and maintained.
• Drive corrective actions when scope or performance gaps are identified.
• Ensure issues are properly identified and communicated to project team.
• Assist with the resolution of issues by proposing and tracking implementation of solutions to the project team.
• Proactively address and escape as required, constraints to achieving project outcomes and scope completion.
