Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Transmission Line team. You will design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD and help create construction documents, criteria, and drawings.

The ideal candidate has a ABET-accredited engineering degree, 10+ years in transmission line engineering, a PE license, and strong collaboration and communication skills. This role offers remote or flexible locations across the United States with competitive compensation and

Formación

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• Minimum of 10 years’ engineering experience; 8+ years in Transmission Line Engineering.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred; prior utility experience helpful.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV–500kV) using PLS-CADD; prepare construction documents and drawings.
• Coordinate design aspects across disciplines; engage with clients to define scope and requirements.
• Develop project design criteria, plan/profile drawings, structure loading/assembly drawings and specs.
• Estimate construction costs and specify materials; mentor junior engineers.
