Ulteig Engineers is seeking a talented and motivated engineer to join the Transmission Line group. The role focuses on designing high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD and developing construction documentation.

Open to remote or any location within the United States. The ideal candidate holds a ABET-accredited engineering degree, 4+ years of engineering experience, and preferably a PE license or the ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience; 3+ years in Transmission Line Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred.
• Experience with utilities is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Develop construction documents, criteria, and drawings for transmission lines.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline team and clients to determine project scope.
• Review drawings, calculations, and specifications; mentor junior engineers.
